Fertility is complex, and for couples who are having difficulty falling pregnant, making the decision to see a fertility specialist can be fraught with emotion. Other patients will come to see Dr Meghan with a proactive plan for their fertility future, whether that’s a single woman wanting to freeze her eggs or a same-sex couple requiring help with donors or surrogacy.

I believe everyone should get the opportunity to become a parent, and I feel very privileged to be able to help people follow that dream.
To me, listening is the foundation of being a good doctor. Many people don’t realise that there are a range of fertility treatments I can suggest — from the mildest of interventions to more comprehensive treatments like IVF. Which is why sharing information is critical.
But I also know that people coming to see me are often at their most vulnerable. And while I talk about this very personal stuff all day every day, for my patients it is normally the first unfamiliar step on an unfamiliar journey. Which is why it is so important to me that I help you feel comfortable and clear on your options.
I will never treat this experience in your life as anything other than profoundly important, and I appreciate your trust in allowing me to help you on your path to parenthood.
